our family room— the first part! this has been a s our family room— the first part! this has been a slow-ish makeover (in content creator time) but it’s finally gotten to the point where it’s feeling like a special room to me 🥹 because this room is off the kitchen, we spend most of our time here. the kids eat breakfast at the coffee table and get ready for school in here etc. while i would love to eventually swap out some of the furniture— i’m loving the changes now! come back tomorrow for the full room non-reveal reveal because I know I said I was over room reveals so that’s not what this is OK I don’t know what we’re gonna call it. what should we call it lol????
the little things! i gave my front door a little m the little things! i gave my front door a little makeover, because a full room project is just too much right now. like everything else in our house, this door was so wonky and we could barely open/close, so i replaced the hardware we had with a @kwikset handle and halo select lock. i can control it from my phone and from my google home and i love that i can schedule it for people who need to access our house!! comment WANT if you want the links sent straight to ya. so now i have three questions — 1. are you proud of me for branching out color wise? 2. should i paint the outside of the door as well? 3. is it weird to put up a brass door knocker on the inside because we have a storm door on the outside! #kwiksetpartner

well i’m hibernating… and loving it!? #AppleBooksP well i’m hibernating… and loving it!? #AppleBooksPartner i know it’s early days, winter-wise, but i’m a complete homebody and honestly thrive with lack of social obligations. staying cozy at home with my slow cooker, @applebooks, and ofc the electric fireplaces i’ve put all over my house 😅 right now i’m listening to The First Time I Saw Him (a @reesesbooksclub pick) and i love that it’s really about life before and after a pivotal change — and how you don’t always realize the significance in the moment. feels very relevant to this season of life for me! obviously i can’t wait for spring and seeing all the green pop up, but for now i’m really leaning into the coziness. cozy books, movies, or winter hygge recs welcome!! what should i listen to next?

obviously i’m a winter newbie but here are some wa obviously i’m a winter newbie but here are some ways i’m going to do my best to lean into it! #AppleBooksPartner romanticizing all the things, candles and soups and lamps and audiobooks and tea and and and … someday a cozy bath too! listening to The First Time I Saw Him, one of @reesesbooksclub picks on @applebooks — i love that it takes place in california (sentimental purposes) and it’s nostalgic without being sad, which is so me (when i’m not sad! lol)
