ok new fave holiday hobby unlocked — this is way b ok new fave holiday hobby unlocked — this is way better than potty training. now what else should i draw!!!??? my pinterest is full of embossed tin ornament crafts and i’ve been hoarding tomato paste tubes and takeout containers for a month i’ll do a proper diy tutorial but all i did was flatten metal takeout containers with a butter spreader, then draw designs with an etching tool (but a ballpoint pen will also work fine!) punched a hole and added a ribbon! haven’t figured out if there’s a way to dull the edges but they’re not too sharp as long as they’re rounded!
for all the parents of kids who collect every rock for all the parents of kids who collect every rock, seashell, twig, piece of gravel they see — make these sweet ornaments with their treasures — perfectly easy craft for kids to do themselves too 🤍 — i used oven bake @sculpey_official, roll into a ball and smoosh down — just gently press the shells or rocks in to the clay — add a tiny wire U to the top to hang — bake according to package directions — i used some elastic string to hang easily #diychristmas #diychristmasornaments #diyxmas #clayornaments #diyornaments

literally the most “green” place cards you can mak literally the most “green” place cards you can make for thanksgiving lol— magnolia leaves or any other type (i used rubber tree leaves), write with a paint pen and you can remove with rubbing alcohol if you need to fix anything. so easy and so cute!

DIY house portrait plate! i’m joining @perkinsonp DIY house portrait plate! i’m joining @perkinsonparkway and @peonyandhoney for CRAFTmas day 14!! they’ve been making the cutest holiday crafts daily and i’m tired just thinking about it! this plate diy is so simple to make and you seriously don’t need to be good at drawing— mine is totally off center and it doesn’t even bother me!! (jk it does) ✷ use a piece of white tissue paper to trace the house in pencil (you can print a pic of the house or just trace on an ipad) ✷ tape it onto your plate and go over it with a thin sharpie (do it twice if you really want a heavy bleed!) ✷ remove the tissue paper and then draw it yet again with a ceramic paint pen! ✷ add text, add decorations— and if you want to change things you can easily remove with rubbing alcohol ✷ once you’re happy with your design, bake according to the marker instructions (i also let it cool in the oven) comment MAKE if you want the link for the paint pen, etc sent straight to your dms ❤️ https://liketk.it/5AONL inspired by @harrmel_creates!!
