a tale of one woman, countless novels unfinished, a tale of one woman, countless novels unfinished, and the app that finally made her a reader. #AppleBooksPartner you sly thing! yes, it’s true — i’m on my second book via @applebooks, which i think officially makes me a real-life reader?! i love that i can listen across all my devices (even CarPlay!), so it’s actually easy to turn on whenever i have a spare moment. i’ve honestly been so much more entertained day to day — i used to just facetime family, play the same songs on repeat, or sit alone with my thoughts (dangerous). now i’m hooked!!  i’m reading “wild dark shore” by @charlottemcconaghy, a @reesesbookclub pick, and it’s such a nice change from the light, easy reads i usually start and never finish. so yeah… consider me a book girlie now. WHAT A PLOT TWIST!
potato stamped packaging paper! every year i colle potato stamped packaging paper! every year i collect the paper that comes in packages for about a month and then use to wrap our gifts — but i really wanted to make the extra spruced up this year. i used potatoes to make the stamps, but obviously you can skip a step if you already have cute stamps! i then brushed on some acrylic paint and spent the next few hours stamping away like a jolly little elf! i made some tin gift toppers too and my gifts look so special now 🥹 why spend money on gift wrap that’ll be tossed immediately after opening!? save that pretty gift wrap for paper chains instead! #cozychristmas #recycledgiftwrap #potatostamp

our christmas tree (1 of 2)! we had to give ‘er a our christmas tree (1 of 2)! we had to give ‘er a little trim off the top to fit under our tiny ceilings but this is exactly what i pictured when we first saw this house and now it’s real 🥹
(well i can’t, but my stupidly talented husband ca (well i can’t, but my stupidly talented husband can!) the cutest diy lobster roll ornament made from clay! i could not love it more. he used regular oven bake clay, and translucent clay for the chips, pickles and lemon. then he painted with acrylic and made the little tray out of just an actual takeout box and parchment paper 🦞 now someday he’ll have to make a CT style roll lol if you want the links for the supplies he used, just comment MAKE and i’ll send em straight over. https://liketk.it/5E6e5
