20 minute air fryer salmon bowls

ok this recipe is so easy and delish for a weeknight dinner that i might make it every week! while the salmon is cooking in the air fryer, i just chop and prep all the other ingredients and it comes together super easily. you can obviously also cook your salmon in your oven if you don’t have an air fryer.

the salmon will taste best if you marinate it ahead of time, so that adds a few minutes to the prep time but i think its very worth it. everything else i use is microwave or ready to eat so it’s so simple, but if you’re fancy you could cook your actual rice or edamame. i’m not fancy so i even use a squeeze bottle of ginger. Read More

  • pregnancy fail (pt. 3) — our ttc journey, continued

i can’t believe we’re here again. but i’ve had another miscarriage, two within 12 months. having one miscarriage is one of the most devastating experiences i’ve ever had. but having two is unlike any pain i could ever imagine. wow it is so much worse and i wasn’t prepared.

you hope the first one is just bad luck and you just feel cautiously optimistic that it wouldn’t happen again, but to go through it all over again is like an actual nightmare. i can’t even imagine how women feel who go through this more than that. i do actually feel like i have some PTSD from all of this, and the idea of having this happen again… it’s terrifying. • skeleton snack board

inspired by all the cute fun halloween snack boards i rounded up for you yesterday, i was feeling very inspired to make my own! obviously pumpkins are cute but gid had the idea to make one that was more “on brand” in WHITE!! haha– ok this was honestly so much fun to create.

also, in full transparency i didn’t start with a skull. my original plan was a ghost and it was looking so pac-man and so not anything like a ghost so halfway through i decided a skull would be way more clear and i’m sooo happy with how it turned out!

for the base, i drew and cut out a skull shape from foam core and just piled the food on top. i started with the eyes, nose and mouth and built around that. to make the shapes of the eyes and nose, i just used the mini marshmallows and then filled the insides with raisins, it worked perfectly! for the mouth i just lined up black grapes!
