our first east coast christmas was just all the ma our first east coast christmas was just all the magic, joy, etc !!! ✨
merry xmas!! one day late because i was sick in be merry xmas!! one day late because i was sick in bed all day yesterday, which was so sad for me because it’s my super bowl 😭 but i’m on the mend and so thankful for our first xmas photo in front of a (sort of) real life fireplace, dreams come true! i love you guys and hope you had a beautiful holiday!
it’s just not christmas until i’ve lined up all my it’s just not christmas until i’ve lined up all my freshly wrapped gifts in a grid for the grid!
thought it would be sweet to share some of our fav thought it would be sweet to share some of our fave holiday traditions (+ some new ones i’m adding this year!) #AppleBooksPartner ✷ i always upcycled packaging materials to wrap our gifts, and i love my alone time to wrap with a cozy @applebooks audiobook and bevvie ✷ we do an eggnog taste test! it’s almost always the least fancy ones that win ✷ we gift each kid an ornament that represents something that they loved that year, and document it in a little notebook ✷ we bake the worlds best gingersnaps and attempt to gift them out before eating 98% of them ✷ we always make our own clay ornaments (gid is the show off, but we make them too!) ✷ we eat a red and green fruit salad on xmas morning, always, no matter what! ✷ we make the house feel like a snowglobe – we usually make coffee filter snowflakes but this year we drew with chalk markers and it’s so cuteeeee ✷ excited to find out my main character energy on @applebooks year in review! ✷ we put out snacks for the delivery drivers (weirdly, gum is always the most taken item!!) ✷ i always take a week off from social media, and instead use my phone to read. currently catching up on the latest @reesesbookclub picks on @applebooks ✷ andddd the best part, TWO christmas trees! going to have the kids decide the theme every year, but i’m sure it’ll be coastal every year haha
