about 35 days until we leave los angeles for the connecticut shoreline, UNREAL. i’m ecstatic and sad and so overwhelmed!!!

i have spent WAY too many minutes of my life rummaging through our passports to figure out whose is whose! never again. used my label maker to add our first names but these can be easily removed too!

the sweetest day with only a few tantrums in between— breakfast in bed with a cucumber slushy amuse bouche thing and even custom grape ice cubes 😆 then spa day and a picnic!! feeling so loved and so grateful for my sweet insane babies and husband who made sure it all tasted good too

and happy mother’s day to gigi, who loves me and my babies so fiercely, gave me my sense of humor and my unwavering love of christmas

this day used to be so hard for me during our fertility struggles and i feel so lucky to be able to have my heart feel full now, sending love to anyone whose might not feel that way today ❤️‍🩹

made it my mission to do a mario party for my son, but aesthetic, but also not a sad beige version either (imo anyway lol) is it sad beige!!? or happy beige!?

washi tape and stickers and paper plates were the most effective and easy supplies for this party! i added washi tape to yellow paper plates and hung them to be coins, black washi tape to the plates to be their eyes and green circle stickers to the paper cups to look like yoshi!

arlos signature is too good not to capitalize on it! i made this cute little cake topper of his own handwriting and it felt so personal and heartfelt!!

i scanned it with my phone (i use @adobe scan app) and then used my @cricut to cut it out on vinyl and did a kraft paper backing but you could also totally achieve this look with a regular printer too! then i stuck it onto a cake pop stand.

april was suuuuper eventful for us — we official

april was suuuuper eventful for us — we officially sold our house !!! spent a week with the kids in our new town, made an offer on a house we saw on the last day of our trip, had our offer accepted so i hopped right back on a plane again!!!

soaking up some favorite LA spots and making some new memories over there too 😭 THERE ARE SO MANY EMOTIONS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW

and lastly, our bougainvillea was so sad a few months ago but all of a sudden there’s a red explosion 😍💥 what’s the new england equivalent of bougainvillea because i’m gonna miss it!!!?

another cute collaborative project to do for school auction art! i was able to fully execute this in a few hours!

i had all the kids in my sons class make little houses with glue sticks, scissors and paper (in retrospect i wish we’d gone smaller with the houses!!)

then i glued them all onto black poster board and framed!

i love how it turned out. using pretty color paper was definitely the move because the color scheme looks so good!
