thought it would be sweet to share some of our fav thought it would be sweet to share some of our fave holiday traditions (+ some new ones i’m adding this year!) #AppleBooksPartner ✷ i always upcycled packaging materials to wrap our gifts, and i love my alone time to wrap with a cozy @applebooks audiobook and bevvie ✷ we do an eggnog taste test! it’s almost always the least fancy ones that win ✷ we gift each kid an ornament that represents something that they loved that year, and document it in a little notebook ✷ we bake the worlds best gingersnaps and attempt to gift them out before eating 98% of them ✷ we always make our own clay ornaments (gid is the show off, but we make them too!) ✷ we eat a red and green fruit salad on xmas morning, always, no matter what! ✷ we make the house feel like a snowglobe – we usually make coffee filter snowflakes but this year we drew with chalk markers and it’s so cuteeeee ✷ excited to find out my main character energy on @applebooks year in review! ✷ we put out snacks for the delivery drivers (weirdly, gum is always the most taken item!!) ✷ i always take a week off from social media, and instead use my phone to read. currently catching up on the latest @reesesbookclub picks on @applebooks ✷ andddd the best part, TWO christmas trees! going to have the kids decide the theme every year, but i’m sure it’ll be coastal every year haha

unfortunate news — yesterday it rained and my beau unfortunate news — yesterday it rained and my beautiful snowy view all melted away, so now i’ll reminisce about last weekend instead because that was so superior! CROSSING EVERY FINGER FOR SNOW ON XMAS EVE NOW ❄️

buoy ornaments! how sweet are these!? and they wer buoy ornaments! how sweet are these!? and they were so so simple to make— i kinda love the idea of making a little buoy bundle every year 🥹 someone sent me a picture of some clay buoys the other day and i knew our coastal theme tree needed them stat. i made them out @sculpey_official, baked them and had each of us paint our own, once they were dry, i just put some string through each one, tied a large knot on the bottom and then tied them all together. if you want the supplies i used sent straight to ya, just comment MAKE https://liketk.it/5GIBV #diyornaments #clayornaments oven bake clay ornaments, #coastalchristmas
