~ trying to add all the patterns to the living room, brought our bedroom quilt out to the sofa and even trying these STRIPED BLUE CURTAINS! ignore the way they’re temporarily hung right now please 🫣
~ autumnal art on the tv too, @chrislovesjulia said not to use a mat so goodbye mat
~ arlo invented this genius meal, a sloppy joe bowl aka the “sloppy bowl” ™️ which is just sloppy joe meat with shredded iceberg and pickles and it’s so good

i tried to make a coffee table book of my sons art

i tried to make a coffee table book of my sons art every year... weeeell here we are 2.5 years later so i made it ages 5-7 instead lol. i used @mixbook to print the book, i love their simple layout options and the layflat style is sooo LUX. btw, this is a 10x10”!

if you also have endless stacks of art all over your house, here’s how i make the books!

- pick your favorite art and download a scanning app on your phone
- photograph to scan, you can then alter/enhance the art in the app or your camera roll
- you can also hang the non-drawings on the wall to take pictures
- save all the art to a folder on your phone, it makes the import process for making the book sooo much easier
(also, i save everything a shared icloud folder called “arlo art” and invited all his grandparents to it)

then feel free to throw away all the stacks of loose art!
