marshmallow snowmen! so cute you MIGHT not want to eat them! super cute and simple activity to do with your kids. plop them in hot chocolate and cozy up together 🥹

attach marshmallows to each other using toothpicks, use pretzel sticks for their arms, and we used sprinkles with icing as the glue to make their faces and buttons.

(the exact sprinkles i used were @wiltoncakes rainbow chip crunch for the noses and black confetti sprinkles for the eyes and buttons)

he used oven bake @sculpey_official and acrylic paint, then made the takeout box out of actual cereal box and parchment paper out of real life parchment paper. he used transparent paint for the pickle and the chips— soooo good!

snowflake clay ornaments!
these are SO simple to make and so so cute!

make balls out of your oven bake (or air dry) clay and roll out. poke large holes all around the diameter of your circle and then bake.

use a thick needle and embroidery floss to go across each direction overlapping.

add a string to hang (i added a little wood bead for some flair)

totally no-sew project but if you know how to sew sew it up!

i love love hanging paper chains around the house but i really wanted to make some that we could keep FOREVER. i went a little crazy in the fabric section and got a ton of patterns but this would also look so cute in just 1 or 2 pattern variations too! now i’m second guessing if i shoulda gone simpler haha.

cut 1-1.5” strips of fabric and use fuse tape to bond with an iron. then just use fabric glue to create your loop and let dry with chip clips on to keep their shape.

i spent a solid week adding more and more loops whenever i felt like doing something productive with my hands, you could obviously make this as short or as long as you want!

i’ve been collecting ceramics forever now, but i decided to hang some of my favorites so i can actually see them everyday instead of keeping them in a drawer waiting to be used! i’m so happy i did! @joannagaines has a new class on @masterclass that’s all about making design decisions that feel personal and tell a story, and after years of designing a minimal house with little personality, i’m totally embracing it!!
