the kids bathroom, pt 1?! the smallest and darkest the kids bathroom, pt 1?! the smallest and darkest room in the house and like zero storage, so i knew i wanted to spruce it up a bit right away just so we could use it more comfortably. i got the CUTEST scallop pendant light and little brass mirror from @bedbathandbeyond along with some other accessories to freshen it up, and we added a shelf across the sink wall for some much needed counter space. comment WANT for the links sent directly to your dms!! https://liketk.it/5lKLT i really thought a butter yellow bathroom could be cute, with the existing vintage tile but the room is so dark everywhere *except* directly next to the window so the color looks completely different on every wall! i started with a creamy yellow, and it ended up looking flesh toned, so i painted AGAIN and i don’t even know if i like yellow anymore? 😆 but i am so not interested in painting again right now so we’re gonna live with it for now... also, sink skirt yay or nay?!

an arlo room update, pt 1! sadly we couldn’t fit an arlo room update, pt 1! sadly we couldn’t fit his bunkbed in his new room, but there was no way i was saying goodbye to his @avocado.green mattresses, so i searched forever for a full over twin trundle until i realized @avocado.green makes the perfect one!!! i’m so happy we’ll still have space for guests when they come visit us 😭  it’s solid wood and individually crafted in their workshop in LA, made with non-toxic, zero-VOC glues, paint, and varnishes, and it comes with or without the trundle and in twin size too. i feel like he’ll be sleeping on this until college?!  both my kids use @avocado.green mattresses and not only are they incredibly comfy, but they’re also made of certified organic wool, cotton, and latex to keep them cool and dry in summer, and warm in winter (which we’re gonna need for the first time ever now!) his friend even got the same mattress after a sleepover because he begged his mom hahah  comment WANT for the links sent straight to your dms 🤍 and ps how do we feel about a fully blue room??? lol #avocadomattress #avocadokids https://liketk.it/5lfXH

just a simple little summer dinner outside — i m just a simple little summer dinner outside — i made @nytcooking one-pan roasted fish with tomatoes (i used cod and it was so easy and good!) and set the table with the flowers we picked ourselves 🥹 also did some pearled couscous in case the kids hated the fish (arlo was excited to try it and didn’t end up liking, izzy refused to try it and finally did when we were all done and loved it) and a simple herby green salad trying to enjoy as many meals outside as we can because apparently we won’t be able to do that all year long!?!
we are so not used to having LAND and the quotes i we are so not used to having LAND and the quotes i’ve gotten to mow are bonkers - but we’re going to save so much time and money now because of our new ROBOT LAWNMOVER!! this is the @Navimow X3 Series and it’s life changing. it’s got precise AI mapping, can see all obstacles in its way and figures out the virtual boundaries of your entire yard. our yard is basically one giant slope and has boulders everywhere, and it can handle it all, no problem! it’s also SO quiet, so quiet that i can peacefully sit outside with a cocktail while he mows! we can even start it up by just saying “hey google…!!” and when it’s done (or low on battery) it just goes back to it’s home and charges back up!! honestly the best thing we’ve gotten for the house by FAR!!!! #SegwayNavimow #SegwayNavimowX3 #RoboticMower #LawnCare
