SOOOO! we decided we’re gonna try out living in SOOOO! we decided we’re gonna try out living in new england. it’s still gonna be a couple months because we’re gonna stay til arlos done with school, but i just feel in my heart that we have to try it. to those of you who have encouraged or commented or talked me through a big move, thank you! i’m still nervous but for someone as indecisive as me, i’m quite proud of myself for even making the decision. i will finally live out my dreams of a slow coastal grandma life. WHAT!? i wrote a whole bunch on my substack if you want to know more, including what im most looking forward to and what i’m most scared of. the link is in my bio! does it seem a bit premature to be making an announcement video when we haven’t actually found a new house yet? sure but it’s all i think about these days!!

i am quite passionate about the rom com genre! it’s the most delightful type of movie in existence. and i’ve finally created a list of faves for you to watch or revisit! you’ve got mail >>> sleepless in seattle someone had to say it. music and lyrics beat out notting hill. lots of controversy on this list but actually maybe i should add notting hill because i do love it lol. is defending your life a romcom? its both com and rom so why not right? set it up is one of the best romcoms in the last decade i dont care who disagrees with me. it’s been so long i’ve forgotten truly HOW MUC it’s been so long i’ve forgotten truly HOW MUCH we’ve done to this house! because the fence was functioning and standing just fine, it just looked ugly, we decided to have it refaced which costs a fraction compared to redoing it. we got a few quotes for it ranging from $2500 - $7k can you guess which one we went with!? it literally took a few hours and our backyard was TRANSFORMED!! i also had them cut down the dog ears from the front gate and add a small trim piece to cap off the top and it’s like night and day for my eyeballs! the paint color is called “abstract gray” by @clarkandkensington #backyardrenovation #backyarddesign #fencedesign #backyardmakeover
