it’s been so long i’ve forgotten truly HOW MUC $it’s been so long i’ve forgotten truly HOW MUCH we’ve done to this house! because the fence was functioning and standing just fine, it just looked ugly, we decided to have it refaced which costs a fraction compared to redoing it. we got a few quotes for it ranging from $2500 - $7k can you guess which one we went with!? it literally took a few hours and our backyard was TRANSFORMED!! i also had them cut down the dog ears from the front gate and add a small trim piece to cap off the top and it’s like night and day for my eyeballs! the paint color is called “abstract gray” by @clarkandkensington #backyardrenovation #backyarddesign #fencedesign #backyardmakeover$

i made this football thing last year for the big football game but that’s the maximum amount of football things i’ll do!!!! 🏈

it was so easy and cute though — here’s how to make!

ingredients —
pizza dough
mozzarella sticks
1 egg
flaky salt

for the garlic herb butter—
4 tb butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan
2 minced cloves of garlic
chopped parsley and basil
salt and pepper

recipe—
· preheat oven to 400
· cut cheese sticks into 1 inch pieces.
· divide pizza dough into 30ish pieces. press them into small rectangles, add a chunk of cheese into the middle and wrap dough around, pinch it closed and roll into balls.
· place them on a parchment lined baking sheet into the shape of a football, brush egg on top and sprinkle with flaky salt.
· bake for 18 minutes and then broil for 2-3 so they get golden on top.
· mix together the garlic herb butter ingredients and brush on top.
· cut another string cheese into small slices and arrange as the laces, serve with marinara!!!

all you need is white napkins and little red hearts— i painted wood craft hearts red and wrote with a white paint pen. then simply fold your napkin like an envelope!

i love a unique place card but i’m especially into the fact that it’s double duty!!

we do these beach day setups every once in a while but this was our best ever — thought i’d share for any parents stuck inside with their kids because it was very low effort but very very fun for all of us!! perfect activity for sick days or winter days stuck inside.

how to setup a beach day — we used beige throw blankets for the sand and a blue tablecloth for the ocean and covered it with all their under the sea stuffed animals. we used beach towels on the sand, they put their swimsuits over their clothes, i played beach boys surf songs and made them drinks. they loved it!!!!

soooo long january — 2025 starts now in my eyes! some moments that brought me joy during such a bad month

highlights include : the kids first time playing in snow in the most beautiful tahoe, a cancelled flight in costa rica turned into the best mini holiday, wearing my new favorite dress, beach night in our living room, discovering my new love of watercoloring, izzy just being pure sunshine all day no matter what, my mom beating the great brisket rush of 2025.

also i got new glasses should i keep or return?
