directions

01. decide on the size you’d like to make your mirror. ours is 18 1/4″ on every side. using your miter box, saw three identical sized pieces with identical angled edges. we sawed ours at 30 degrees.

02. using your wood glue, glue each edge together and clamp for at 6 – 12 hours. because i’m paranoid. sand afterwards, don’t sand before or it can mess up your edges.

03. once dry, cut your mirror. cut your mirror? if this sounds like nonsense, then we agree. i have a local glass guy that has been cutting glass for me for a decade now, so i went to him. he cut a mirror to size for $10.

04. using your craft glue, glue the mirror to the back of your frame. if you have the glass guy cut your mirror small enough, you can attach hooks to the back. otherwise, use extreme mounting tape.

  3. It’s not easy or DIY if you have to seek out and pay a glass cutter to do this.
