like probably everyone else in the world, i loooove marble kitchen countertops — i’ve always kind of hoped my future dream kitchen would have them. now that we’re talking about what we want to do to our real future kitchen, we’re thinking marble is not the way to go — as we’re pretty rough in the kitchen and we just don’t think they’ll be durable enough for us. so instead i’m rounding them up to just swoon over what won’t be.

we’ve discussed having white counters with a marble backsplash because they did it on property brothers and it looked pretty good. but maybe it’s not as cool as just as all marble like these.

  1. Ahhh, so gorgeous! We actually have marble tile countertops in our kitchen, but it’s gray, not the pretty white kind. I’ve thought about eventually replacing it with that, but came to the same conclusion you did, that it would be too hard to keep it free of stains. Some of the manufactured stones do a really good impression of marble, though! Justina used one here: http://www.thejungalow.com/2015/08/boho-kitchen-bonanza-pt-2.html and my sister used a bit in her kitchen, and it looked really good. So you might want to look into that as an alternative. But I bet white counters with a marble backsplash would look great, too.

  2. hey girl,
caesarstone has a quartz product meant to replicate marble – check out the Calacatta Nuvo or Statuario Nuvo, it’s what we plan to use in our reno if the stars align and pigs fly and we actually get time to do it 🙂

  3. The photos looks so gorgeous. I wish my kitchen will be like that too. Marble white color makes the kitchen look so classy and modern

  4. I was just going to recommend caesarstone – but it seems like your smart readers have beat me to it. We didn’t have the marble variation in our last kitchen, just one of the whitest quartz options….and I LOVED it.
